Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy is usually provided by a psychologist, clinical social worker, license marriage and family therapist or licensed counselor.
Family therapy is a beneficial treatment and effective at resolving problems or helping individuals (within the family unit) understand each other better.
Studies have shown that family therapy is an effective method for solving problems and it has proven to help families come to grips with traumatic events. Family Therapy has helped families deal with mental and behavioral problems along with other issues mental health challenges such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, depression, marital problems etc.
